Store your candle in a cool, dry place. If exposed to sunlight for prolonged periods of time, your candles may discolor or fade. 

While coco apricot creme wax candles do not emit toxins, you may see soot begin to accumulate on the container if the wick is too long, there is a draft around your candle or the candle has been burning for an extended period of time. This is NOT the same as the toxic soot left from paraffin candles.

When you burn your candle for extended periods of time the wax gets too hot and the fragrance oils begin to burn off and may result in you no longer being able to smell your candle or your space may be too warm. Certain fragrances won’t travel very far if a space is too warm.
You also want to make sure the candle is the appropriate size for your room. Our Travel Luxe candles perform best in a small to medium sized room. If you have a larger room, high ceilings or an open concept area you may need multiple candles or a larger candle to achieve the desired fragrance level.

There is no flame when you use a wax warmer. Wax will not completely evaporate simply by being heated. You'll also get a stronger scent throw if you use less wax in your warmer.

Gift cards are digital and delivered immediately after purchase via email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. The email address that you provide at checkout is where the gift card is sent. We do not have access to the gift card number or the ability to send the gift card to another email address.
After checkout, you will be provided a link to download a free gift card template if you would like to print it off and complete it.

Customer purchased gift cards do not have an expiration date. Promotional gift cards issued by Paradise Candles, LLC may have an expiration date that will be communicated when issued.

Gift cards are not able to be replaced if stolen, lost, destroyed or used without permission.

We like to keep things fresh so we bring in limited-run fragrances for holidays and seasonally. It's also possible that the scent you are looking for has been retired permanently. This could be due to a number of things like popularity, supply chain or being reformulated. It's also possible that your favorite scent simply had a name change so try entering the name into the search field or emailing us and we will let you know if there has been a name change.

To be able to get your orders out to you as quickly as possible the items listed on our website are in stock unless otherwise noted as made-to-order or pre-order (i.e. sachets). Unfortunately, this may result in something being out of stock from time to time. We encourage you to use the back in stock notification option on the product page (if available). You can choose to receive an email or a text message (this does not add you to any sort of crazy text marketing list) and your notification is sent as soon as we update inventory. This is also helpful for us to know which items are most in-demand and should be prioritized in production.

Yes, we love it when you gift our candles! From the cart page, you can enter your gift message in the notes section. We'll handwrite it on one of our Paradise Candles notecards and include it in the package. We will also include a packing slip versus an invoice. The packing slip doesn't include pricing, but does have our contact information for any issues or questions and will show the name of the person who placed the order. We can leave the packing slip out (or black out your name) upon request.

Yes, we do offer local pick up. We set up at a local store during pick up hours for customers to pick up their orders.
We also offer FREE shipping on orders of $100+ with code FREESHIP100 (may be automatically added sometimes). This offer excludes wholesale and special order purchases.

No, we are only able to honor one discount code per order. Discount codes are only valid for retail customers and will not be honored on wholesale or special/custom orders.
